how many people do you know who want to carry 350 books at one time? I call this situation “phantom value,” and it’s something that happens a lot to tech companies. They’ve made a product without really thinking through the value proposition. When it comes time to market it, they pick one feature of the product and try through brute force to persuade customers that they should care about it. Usually the only people they convince are themselves.
