A Brief History of Disbelief
Much brouhaha in Flanders, where a dance recital is being advertized by a Madonna with a bared boob. O profanity.
The real sacrilege is of course our society still denies Maria was a twelve or thirteen year old girl, when she was impregnated by the Holy Spirit. Customs change. The Madonna pictured here is at least twice her age [and has not breastfed any baby, but I digress].
This all to say the BBC broadcasts yet another interesting program series on religion tonight, and the next coming Mondays, called Jonathan Miller’s Brief History of Disbelief [20.00 cet].
