This is Ruby, the anti-Barbie. A poster of her provoked outrage. Mattel sent The Body Shop a cease-and-desist order, because this image was insulting to the real Barbie.
There are more banned ads on that site. Though most of the examples shown there just illustrate how people take offense to the weirdest things.
Me, I personally take offense from any badly dubbed washing powder ad. Or that Calgon one that warns water can be so hard, it will ruin your washing machine. If only, because Dutch tapwater just doesn’t contain that much calcium oxide or other minerals, especially compared to Germany.
